With over four decades of experience in international education, Gerry has served in senior leadership roles in schools across the globe, including Regional Head of Education (South East Asia) for a leading group of international schools, as well as Principal and Headmaster.
His career has been defined by a deep commitment to learner-centred education, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary curriculum design, and driving school improvement through innovation, equity, and sustainability.
A passionate advocate for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, he supports schools in embedding these goals into their teaching and learning through inquiry-based, project-driven approaches and has developed an AI-powered learning ecosystem that enables teachers and learners to create interdisciplinary PBL units focused on the SDG of their choice.
He also specialises in using AI platforms to help create short 3-D, animated movies and immersive learning experiences using virtual reality platforms that enrich learners’ understanding of the human story behind the History of Mathematics and can provide professional development for educators on digital transformation and impactful pedagogy.
He is excited to work with schools to bring a systems-level perspective on how we can reimagine education to prepare learners for an increasingly complex world, focusing on curiosity, agency, and global competence
