CHRISTOPHER FENTON
School Improvement | Quality Assurance | Leadership Development
From strategy to outstanding practice.
Christopher Fenton is an international school leader and improvement specialist with almost 30 years’ experience transforming educational strategy into measurable, sustainable practice.
A former UK Headteacher and international Principal, Christopher has led complex, high-performing school communities at significant scale, with responsibility spanning educational quality, leadership development, teaching and learning, curriculum, assessment, behaviour and wellbeing.
Most recently, his leadership lead to an Outstanding judgement from Bahrain’s Education & Training Quality Authority (BQA), with particular strengths recognised in leadership and management, professional development, student achievement, support and personal development.
Christopher’s approach to school improvement is deliberately practical. He works alongside owners, boards and school leaders to identify what is working, establish where improvement is needed and — critically — build the leadership capacity and systems required to make improvement last.
His philosophy is simple: great schools are not created by improvement plans; they are created when improvement becomes visible in the everyday experience of every student.
Christopher has also contributed internationally through his work with Cambridge International and Oxford University Press.

How Christopher Works
Christopher does not bring schools a predetermined solution.
He brings fresh eyes with respect for identity — combining rigorous evaluation with an understanding of each school’s context, culture and ambitions.
The objective is not simply to tell a school what needs to improve.
It is to leave the school stronger and more capable of improving itself.
