Over the past two decades, UNIC has led the development of life and health sciences programmes in Cyprus and in 2011 it launched the first Medical School in the country. Based on the successful model of the Medical School, UNIC is now introducing the first Veterinary School in the country.
The University of Cyprus School of Veterinary Medicine is a reputable institution offering a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in veterinary medicine. Established in 2004, the school is recognized by the European Union and the World Organization for Animal Health. Students have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through partnerships with local veterinary clinics, research centers, and farms. The program emphasizes scientific research, clinical practice, and professional skills, preparing graduates for careers in private practice, research, or government agencies. The university’s veterinary program is taught in English, attracting international students and providing a diverse learning environment.
